EMC laboratory

The EMC laboratory is one of the two laboratories of EUROSIGNAL. Both of these gained accreditation of CAI (Czech Accreditation Institute) acc. ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17025 repeatedly in March 2014. L1663We are performing tests of electromagnetic interference and electromagnetic immunity tests on electric as well as electronic devices.

  

What are we testing

Theoretically any electric or electronical device, practically only devices in accordance to standards that are in our accreditation range, see list of accredited test.

Frequently tested device:

  • products intended for railway enviroment
  • hospital equipment
  • computer network components

 

Where are we testing

We are performing tests entirely in laboratories of science technology park Mstětice, our equipment does not allow us to perform tests outside.

Our equipment

EMC komoraThe essencial part of the laboratory is EMC Frankonia chamber for radiation interference measuring and for immunity to HF EM field test in a three-metre distance.

For EMI tests the chamber is acompanied by kit of  EMI Test Receiver, remote controlled antennas, turntable, cables and also by very user friendly meassuring software EMC32 with really well prepared graphical layout.

For EMS testing there is a second kit of generator, switching unit, two amplifiers, HF power meter, HF electric field probe and other necessary components. This kit is controlled by software CD/RF-LAB.

Other very important measuring devices in EMC Laboratory is multipurpose generator TRA 2000 IN 4 and generator of induced interferences CIT 10/75, both used for immunity tests. And we are using a number of testing tables, coupling/decoupling units (CDNs), coupling clamps, coupling planes, artifitial power networks, cable reductions, grounding attachments and other laboratory accesories.

EMC PartnerAll laboratory premises are fully airconditioned and there is a necessary workspace where the costumers can modify their products with solder station, set of ferrites for suppression of EM interferences, etc..

Our measuring systems are connected to the data network with on-line management where we are maintaining the orders, testing data and results by an internal infromation system.
